Glazed Carrots
A delicious side dish, especially around the holidays
Ingredients
- 1 pound carrots
- 2 quarts water
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- salt
- black pepper
Instructions
- Julienne the carrots
- Blanche the carrots
- Melt the butter and combine with lemon juice and maple syrup
- Add the carrots and gently stir
- Garnish the carrots with lemon zest and parsley
