Through the WP Recipe Maker > Manage > Recipe Fields > Ingredients page you can define the plural of a specific ingredient. By doing that, the appropriate version will be used automatically when using the Adjustable Servings or Shopping List feature, for example.
This also means that only the singular version shows up in the grid and can show both recipes using “lime” and “limes”. Further more, you’ll only have to define Ingredient Links once.
In the example below the last ingredient in the list is “lime”, which has a plural set. Try clicking on “2x” to see the ingredient automatically use the correct form:
Virgin Rosemary Mojito
Ever tried replacing mint with rosemary in your Mojito? We did, and it’s quite tasty!
- 1 glass crushed ice
- ½ glass lemonade
- ¼ glass apple juice
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 4 sprigs rosemary
- 1 lime
- Mash the brown sugar with 2 rosemary sprigs.
- Add the apple juice, lemonade and lime juice.
- Server with rest of sprigs and a lime wedge.
